ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Structural analysis of FRP structural assemblies
- Preparation of design sketches for estimators and drafters
- Preparation of structural calculations
- Review and checking of submittal drawings
- Review of Building Code regulations;ensure compliance with Building Codes as applicable
- Support of sales opportunities requiring engineering support
- Provide technical guidance and support to local R&D team
- Other duties as assigned
SKILLS
- Must be skilled in using Structural Analysis software and interpreting analysis results
- Experience with ACAD. Parabuild experience also preferred but not required
- Must be able to write routine reports and/or correspondence
- Must be able to co-ordinate effectively with managers and co-workers of the organization,
vendors and clients.
- Familiar with Office 365 Suite
- Must be able to communicate effectively (oral and written) in English
WILLS
- Ability to work independently
- Superior ability to identify and resolve problems
- Initiative to identify and implement solutions for continuous improvement within essential
duties

QUALIFICATIONS
The Individual must possess a Bachelor?s Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering with a minimum of
8 years of experience in Structural Analysis, preferably for FRP Pultruded Structures. Proven experience
with Design of Structural Steel and/or FRP Structures is required. Experience with both ASD and LRFD
design approach is preferred. Experience with FEA analysis using beam elements for Steel and/or FRP
design is preferred. Experience with Building Code regulations is preferred. Experience with Design of
Concrete Structures is a plus. To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform
each Essential Duty satisfactorily.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Potential to assume supervisory duties
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
- Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer
- Must be able to lift 45 pounds at a time
- Must be able to travel to various job sites
- Ability to work safely with hand tools and testing equipment.
WORK ENVIRONMENT:
- The working conditions are normal for an office environment. This position requires exposure
to other areas of the manufacturing process. The employee will be exposed to shop elements
such as noise, dust, odors, and weather
- Based full time in Queretaro except for travel (5-10% of time as required)
